The round moon hung high in the sky, but it was slowly turning a scarlet red, the moonlight reflecting on to the gothic building that lurked ominously like a ghost castle.
It was located on the outskirts of an untraversed region where every inch of the land was as expensive as gold because the air was so fresh. Every ten meters, there was a villa with a distinct appearance. In the near future this area would also be developed into a vacation spot.
A chilly wind rushed through the area. A shadow tottered along desperately as a young woman tried to run from the gothic villa. Her hair was messy, her shirt torn, and she was holding a knife in one hand as blood dripped from stains on her face and body. It was difficult to tell whether the blood was hers or not.
There was no one in the surroundings. She was frantically looking back in terror as though she expected a ghost to be chasing her from behind. She fell on the ground, crawling her way back up and continuing to run, her bare feet crunching dead leaves on the ground.
The iron gate was just before her. If she could just run a little faster and hold it together just a little more, then she would be able to escape from this hell…
Another shadow appeared behind her, strolling at a slow, sedate pace as though she was just out for a moonlit walk. That shadow slowly walked in the direction of the desperately escaping young lady.
The corner of her mouth was raised, a gentle smile beautiful on her face. Yet it was strange.
No, don’t come over here!
The young lady in the front was torn up with fear. She turned back and saw the shadow. Immediately, she was so frightened that she felt her legs weaken. She wanted to escape, she didn’t want to fall into the hands of a psycho, she would rather die than fall into her hands again! So she took the knife and even if she couldn’t run away, she could at least commit suicide!
She ran through the iron gate, the girl behind her still chasing her in a leisurely manner, about ten meters of distance between them. The leaves of the trees rustled in the windy night, the moonlight shining bright in the deep darkness of the night. The shadow behind her was an inescapable net, she felt as though she would be caught and tortured with creepy things again. Oh God! No!
Bam! She tripped and fell, the small knife in her hand skidding half a meter away. She raised her head in terror, looking at the girl not far behind her. She still had that gentle smile on her face. The young lady’s whole body trembled in fear; that girl was scarier than a ghost! She must be the most psychopathic person in the world, the cruelest, scariest girl in the world… The girl turned out to be different than the image she portrayed in the eyes of the world…
Suddenly, a lilting, bright laugh sounded into the quiet night. The noise was exceptionally charming in the silent gloom.
The young lady who had fallen on the ground still clung to a sliver of hope, and her lip trembled as she picked the small knife off the ground and immediately ran toward the origin of the laughter.
Tsk tsk…
That’s so naughty of you, a naughty doll should be wrapped with more layers of linen cloth~
The girl walked slowly behind her, the smile on her face deepening in the brightness of the moonlight, illuminating her clear, fair skin, looking as pure as an angel.
A couple relaxed in a car stopped on the road, drinking beers and playing around. They suddenly heard hasty footsteps coming their way. They turned to see a girl with messy hair, her hand gripping a small knife and blood on her face. She suddenly appeared under the moon, like a ghost coming to life, which scared the pair.
“Help!” The ghost begged, doddering toward them. Looking back frantically, pleaded with them: “Help, please, I’m begging you!”
The man was frightened and wanted to bring his girlfriend back into the car to escape. It was obviously frightening to encounter a ghost like her in the middle of the night, they weren’t some sort of martial arts masters either.
“No, please! I’m begging you guys to help me, I’m a human! I’m really a human being and not a ghost! Help me! There’s someone that wants to kill me!” The young lady had seen through their fear, immediately kneeling on the ground to implore them, her whole body trembling as she saw the girl slowly walking out from the corner behind her. Her face contorted again in fear. She held tightly onto the handle of the car door as if it was her lifeline, desperately trying to pull it open: “Look! That person, she wants to kill me! She wants to kill me! Help! I’m begging you to help me!”
The headlights were bright and the couple inside heard that someone wanted to kill her, while she herself was in front of them begging for help. They of course couldn’t leave her just like that, but she was holding a knife, so they wanted to call their friends in the area for help.
Unfortunately, when they saw the little girl being accused as a murderer, they were stunned, and they hesitated.
If an angelic looking girl like her was a murderer, then society as a whole might as well have turned to despair.
The moonlight was bright, but the headlights were brighter. The accused girl was wearing a clean, white dress, and looked to be quite young. She was probably a minor.
She had black silky hair with a slight curl to it, a small face with a light blush adorning her cheeks. Her facial features were delicate, her aura as clean as if she was an angel from the sky.
“Big sister.” Her pace sped up all of a sudden, her eyebrows furrowing in concern.
Sister? The couple looked at the two weirdly.
The girl who called out walked closer, while the other girl was so frightened that she pulled the car handle crazily, trying to get into the car. “No! Don’t get fooled by her appearance! She’s a liar, she’s abnormal! She has a lot of mummy dolls made of corpses in her room! She wants to make me into her doll! Help me! Help!”
Her face was covered in blood, her hand fisted around her knife, desperately banging on the car door. Her expression was terrifying and her screams for help had frightened the girl in the car.
“Big sister, please calm down…” The angelic girl looked worried, like she was extremely concerned for her sister, her expression flawless. Nobody could see through it.
However, when the angelic girl tried to move closer, the other girl lifted her knife and prepared to stab her, her brain blank, operating purely on her survival instincts.
When the knife was just a few millimeters away, the man in the car immediately reacted to grab the girl’s hand and stop it.
At that moment, the girl in the white dress anxiously said: “Big brother you must be careful, my sister is mentally ill, could you please let her go, I… I…” She looked so panicked, like she had no idea what to do.
“Arghhh release me! Let me go! There’s no problem with me! She’s the abnormal one! She’s a necrophiliac! If you want just take me to the mental hospital or report this to the police, please don’t make me leave with her! I beg you!” The girl covered in blood was afraid the man wouldn’t trust her, so she tried to shake off his grip and hide behind him. She continued to anxiously beg him, fearful that she she would be made to leave with the abnormal girl rather than be taken to a mental hospital.
The angelic girl didn’t react at all, as though she was used to her sister’s actions. Her expression hinted at a sense of helplessness.
Even the man couldn’t believe what that girl had just said. The girl in white looked so innocent, how could she be so abnormal like the other girl was claiming? She herself looked more abnormal to him.
“Big brother, I’m so sorry to bother the two of you, but my parents won’t be home for a few more days so I need to take care of my sister, but today she forgot to take her medicine…” The angelic girl looked troubled.
“That’s nonsense! Don’t listen to her! She’s lying! Don’t believe her, I’m begging you…!”
The girl in white shrugged her shoulders helplessly, her warm eyes and mild face stimulating his heart to skip a beat.
“Let me help you call the mental hospital.” He said.
The girl shook her head: “No, my sister can’t go to that kind of place. I can take care of her, could you just please help me take her home? My house is just there on the slope.”
“NO!” The other girl screamed in misery, struggling crazily in her attempts to escape.
The man frowned and grabbed both her hands and pinned them to her back, saying: “Are you sure you can take care of her?” It was so unlucky that he’d run into an insane girl so late at night, he didn’t want to become further involved. The angelic girl didn’t seem to be lying, anyway.
“Yeah.” The girl in white smiled gratefully, warm and cute like a small animal. It made people want to pat her head.
“Ah! No!!!”
“Let go of me! Let go!”
“Why won’t you believe me?! She’s not a good person! Arghhhhhhhh!”
“……”
A sharp, howling voice kept going into the dark night from the other girl’s mouth as they neared the black house, only despair left in her heart. Nobody wanted to believe her.
The world was crazy! Everyone chose to believe and love this abnormal girl!
“Thank you, goodbye.” She stood in front of the gate and smiled beatifically, waving the man goodbye. The man waved back and drove slowly away.
After a while as they faded from sight, she turned to look at the girl with her hands and legs restrained in the hallway. Her smile was still warm as she closed the thick door.
“Why did you try to escape?” She walked to the table and opened up a pretty cosmetic box, but inside the box was a collection of watery threads and a few rotten, black nails. The metallic smell filled the air.
“I haven’t made you into a doll yet, where are you planning to escape?” She courteously asked.
The girl’s terrified expression morphed into hatred: “Mu Rulan, you’re much scarier than a haunting ghost…”
“Hehe.” She laughed gently, “I’ve been haunted for a long time, so I had no choice but to incarnate myself into a haunting ghost.”
